Ang Chin Joo (C J Ang) served 35 years in the ICT industry. It began when he joined Computer Systems Advisers Berhad in 1976. In 1981, Ang joined IBM Malaysia where he served in various sales, marketing, services, management and consulting positions in industries such as banking, telecommunications, airlines, utilities, as well as small and medium enterprises. His consulting stint in IBM in 1992 and 1993 included being the Principal of the IBM Consulting Group for the ASEAN region.

Ang left IBM in 1994 to become the first Country Manager of Compaq Computers Malaysia. After 3 years in Compaq, Ang went into an entrepreneurial phase, culminating in the listing of Datascan Berhad (now know as Cuscapi Berhad) on the MESDAQ (now ACE) Market of Bursa Malaysia in 2004.

In January 2008, Ang was appointed President of PIKOM, the National ICT Association of Malaysia, where he served until May 2010. He is now an Advisor in the PIKOM Council, and a Committee Member of Outsourcing Malaysia, a chapter of PIKOM missioned to develop the outsourcing industry.

Ang currently also serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director on the Boards of Cuscapi Berhad and Milux Berhad.

In May 2011, Mr Ang was appointed a Director of the Multimedia Development Corporation Sdn Bhd (MDeC).
