Director, C2 Consult

Chris Ow Yong, has been involved in Data Centre industry since 2001: from design, development, construction, maintenance, operations and sales of Data Centre infrastructure and supporting services.

He graduated with B. Eng (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Leeds University in UK, prior to joining C2 Consult.

At C2 Consult, he was the Project Manager in the construction of CSF Computer Exchange from ground-up, which was the largest purpose built data centre facility in Malaysia then. On completion of the building in 2003, he was involved in the sales and marketing effort, operation processes, customer management, daily operation and management until 2009.

In 2007, Chris was key facilitator in securing a Global Search Engine Provider’s Data Centre requirement into Malaysia for CSF. In meeting the requirement, he was involved in the building of CX2 Computer Exchange (GFA: 330,000 sq ft with 30MVA Incoming Power).

Chris was briefly under the direct employment of CSF from 2007 until 2009 when he left to re-join C2 Consult to pursue his interests in Data Centre Consultancy.

Presently, he leads the business development and delivery effort for C2 Consult with key accomplishment in developing several key accounts, operation and customer management.
