OM is an initiative of the Shared Services & Outsourcing (SSO) industry and a chapter of PIKOM, which was officiated by our Prime Minister back in 2006. The prime objective of this organization is to enhance global visibility of Malaysian service provider capabilities to global buyers. OM focuses in enabling both buyers and providers of services to work together and help to address service needs within the aegis of global best-practices and competencies.

OM Policy for Ordinary Membership
a. Applicant is a company registered under the Registrar of Companies of Malaysia; and
b. Outsourcing services are the main business components of the applicant‟s total business
OM Policy for Associate Membership
a. Applicant is a company registered under the Registrar of Companies of Malaysia or Registrar of Business of Malaysia and;
b. Applicant is a company engaged in the business of providing or supporting services directly or indirectly to the SSO industry; and
c. That Outsourcing services are NOT the main business components of the applicant‟s total business.
This includes companies who provide sourcing services solely for internal consumptions (Shared Services)
